Carolyn S Dean is a widely known dental marketing speaker, trainer and dental marketing consultant who works extensively with dental professionals throughout Australia and New Zeland. She is the author of ‘Fully Booked – Dental marketing secrets for a full appointment book’ (published in March 2016).

Carolyn is currently Managing Director at My Dental Marketing and Wellsites, award-winning specialist in marketing services and website design for dental, medical and healthcare professionals who currently manage a portfolio of over 300 practices. The companies provide marketing solutions solely in the dental and medical space. As a consequence, they have gained a deep understanding of this profession’s problems and pain points.

Originally from the UK, Carolyn has been involved in IT services sales and marketing for over 21 years, working with some of the largest global IT organisations in the UK, USA, Europe, South Africa, Asia and Australia. Over the last 10 years, she has specialised in the area of the dental, medical and health care profession.

In addition to her practical experience, Carolyn is the author of several business guides for health, medical and dental practitioners and has contributed articles to a number of health, dental and business publications. She has also spoken at various conferences and industry events on medical and dental marketing throughout Australia including the Australian Dental Association Centre for Professional Development.

She lives with her husband and her two children in Sydney, Australia. When she is not looking after her family and businesses, she believes strongly in giving back to the community. She is a founding board member of The First Seeds Fund who are committed to breaking the cycle of poverty and abuse that exists in areas of Australia.
